Beyond Mat Science is a fusion-based format involving a true balance between standing and floor exercises in a variety of positions. It incorporates the use of both yoga and Pilates breathing techniques, while allowing instructors to be creative with the original exercises. Beyond Mat Science offers sequencing of exercises in progressive series combining Yoga, Pilates, and fusion-style exercises in smooth, flowing patterns suitable for all fitness levels. Beyond Mat Science allows an instructor to incorporate the three main fitness components: Cardio-respiratory, strength, and flexibility training, into their fusion classes.
